✧ Introduction
Miki Sayaka (美樹さやか) is one of the five main Magical Girls in the Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica anime and manga series. She's a second-year student at Mitakihara Middle School and is in the same class as Madoka and Homura. She sometimes self-proclaims herself as the Magical Girl of Justice.✧ Personality
Miki is heroic yet impulsive. She cares a lot for her friends and often sacrifices herself for them, made clear by her immediately selling her soul to become a Magical Girl just so she could save Madoka. However, her vision of love is very unrealistic. She hates the idea of being rejected or abandoned by people, although often not telling those people how much she loves them. Not only does she sacrifice herself because she cares, but also because she wants praise for her actions (and even in Hitomi's case, the chance to date him).She can be very careless and forgetful, always acts before thinking and is easy to conflict with others. But on the other side, she is kind, courageous and willing to work hard for others, even if she gets nothing in return. Her kindness can make her nieve and her courage can make her careless.
Miki seems to have had an extremely black-and-white and idealistic vision of love. After learning the truth about the Magical Girl contract, she felt that she could no longer approach her crush, and this wasn't helped by his obliviousness to her feelings. Her friend Hitomi confessed to him, unaware of Miki's problem, and the two started dating. This makes her fall into deep despair, a self-destructive spiral in which she refuses help from the others, distracting herself by fighting, hoping to either die or kill. As a result, her soul gem became corrupted and ultimately caused her to become a witch.

- Due to her healing-type wish when she became a Magical Girl, Miki has the ability to regenerate her health faster than normally and she can also control that pain.

- She can also heal others, as seen in The Rebellion Story manga.
- Summon
- When she fully covers herself with her white cape, she can summon various one-instance cutlass swords, which is similar to Mami's technique of guns. After becoming a part of Law of Cycles, she is able to summon her Witch and even control her at will.

- ☆ She describes herself as having been born "petite bourgeoise," which is French for "small bourgeoise", referring to her family being middle-class.

- ☆ When Miki transforms in the train in Episode 8, the fate of the two hosts was open to interpretation in the original idea. She killed the two men in the manga version, but not in the anime.
- ☆ Shinbo stated in an interview that he liked Miki and asked Gen Urobuchi if something could be done to get her back to life but Urobuchi said that was impossible.
- ☆ Miki's hairpin in the shape of ƒƒ, the musical notation for "fortissimo" or "very loud", which fits her musical theme and bold personality.
